The live path editing tool allows you to change and adjust your paths within SketchUp, then automatically re-generate your object along the path that you just changed. It works both on raw and grouped/nested geometry. The hole tool allows you to punch holes in just about any geometry you could want in SketchUp. Instead of having to click over and over again trying to pick a complex path, this tool automatically tries to find the path for you! The smart path selection tool allows you to quickly select a path within SketchUp. In Profile Builder 3, the ability was added for Profile Builder 3 to automatically create assemblies based on an assembly you’ve already created, meaning that instead of having to assemble everything manually, you just model an assembly and let the extension assemble it for re-use! These are really good for things like stair rails, fences, framed walls, and much much more. They’re almost like if you were to add the ability to repeat components along a path to the follow me tool in SketchUp. In addition, they can also be added to assemblies.Īssemblies are collections of profiles and repeating components, allowing you to create more complex objects along paths.
